Colleen and Paul could not have asked for anything more on their wedding day than what they got: beautiful weather, a brilliant bride, a great groom and a rockin’ reception.
Since Brian was away, I called upon the help of Tom from Tom Cornett Photography throughout the day. First stop: to the salon to catch Colleen getting ready. Maha (the hair stylist) did a fantastic job! Before we got to the church we met up with Paul and his best man right before Colleen arrived. The Police Station where the best man works happens to be right across the street, so we threw Paul into a police car and locked him up…the end.
Now- we’ve been to this church before, March of this year in fact, but they recently had the altar redone and it was done-so beautifully. The ceremony went off without a hitch, not without some jokes from the priest and family members in attendance. We headed out after the formals to visit Colleen’s grandmother at the assisted living center right down the street. It was a great moment which we were happy to witness.
Then the party started. With a live band, great food, and really strong drinks the rest of the night was destined to be lively and fun. It was an awesome day for everyone and we wish them well on their future as a married couple…and hope they close on the house they found (which is close by to us). =]
