Kelly and Tim are a very important couple to me, and if you’ve been keeping up on the Reflections blog then you already know why. Let’s cut to the chase: Kelly and Tim had a spectacular wedding day, and I can’t think of a more deserving couple. Our morning started early, with delivering the matron-of-honor (my wife, Danielle ) to Kelly’s childhood home bright and early. Michael took pictures of the girls while I headed over to Kelly’s brother Billy’s house for some shots of the guys. Tim was obviously eager to marry Kelly, as he was fully dressed by 8 o’clock!
After an intimate ceremony, we headed over to the Bellport Country Club. We stole the bride and groom away for a casual stroll around the neighborhood. For two self-proclaimed camera-phobes, Kelly and Tim did a great job of pretending that Michael and I did not exist. Their joy and closeness was so evident to us; they were content to just be with one another. They are truly a special couple. We brought the Mr. and Mrs. back to catch the tail end of the cocktail hour, and from there on out it was a full-on celebration. My favorite moments? Hearing all the laughter, watching the dancing, and my first experience in taking home a bridesmaid!
