The season finale is always exciting, and ours was exactly that. Donielle and Kyle’s beautiful wedding took place in St. Petersburg, Florida. We were very excited to take a trip down to the Sunshine State.
Donielle’s hotel room was about 30 feet from ours, which is the shortest distance we’ve ever traveled to take pictures of the bride getting ready (if you don’t count the 1,100 miles from New Jersey to Florida). I left Donielle in Michael’s capable hands so I could spend some time with Kyle and his groomsmen across the street at a cool church. As you will see shortly, St. Petersburg is full of interesting architecture and details that make photography a lot of fun.
We met up again at the church for the ceremony, which went off without a hitch. Eager to take advantage of St. Pete’s downtown scene, we spent some time with the new Mr. and Mrs. Gregory. We hit the city, the boardwalk, and coincidentally the nightclub where they each had their respective bachelor/bachelorette parties! Time is always of the essence on wedding days, and this day was no exception, so we rushed to the Orange Blossom so that Donielle and Kyle could spend the night with their nearest and dearest. In true fairytale fashion, a horse and carriage ride concluded the night. We had a great time working with this couple and wish them the best of luck in the future!
